Matcha: Limited Availablity

We have just gotten the official word about the availability of matcha in Japan for 2025.

Due to the unprecedented popularity of high-grade Japanese matcha due to Tik Tok, Instagram, and other social media, tea plantations across the country are straining to meet international customer demand. Therefore, in order to better control availability and ensure that everyone has an equal chance to get their hands on this world-renowned tea, companies are limiting sales, and tea shops themselves are restricting matcha products to one per customer per day.

This also means that Saku Saku Mart will only have a limited supply throughout the year. Please expect only a few products available per day. Please expect long wait times. This is an enormously popular product that people are fighting for. 

Saku Saku Mart customers will be served on a ***first-come first-serve basis, so check the site often and be the first to order tea before it is all gone for the day!
