EU CUSTOMERS:
Duties and taxes have increased for non-EU country shipments. We are a Japanese company and do not know anything about EU laws and taxation, but we have read that on top of VAT and miscellaneous customs fees, there will be an additional €3 Customs Duty and €2 Union Handling Fee (total €5) charged per item by your local post office before you can receive the package. However, we have read that "per item" does not literally mean "per item," only per HS code.
Example: An order of 3 packages of Japanese gummies and 2 packages of potato chips. Gummies and potato chips are completely different (one contains mostly sugar and the other is made of potatoes), so they have 2 different HS codes. There are a total of 5 products in this hypothetical order, but only 2 different HS codes. Therefore, you will not be charged €5 x 5 products = €25. You will only be charged €5 x 2 HS codes = €10.
Therefore, if you want to save money on per-item taxes, you can buy a lot of similar items. For example, if you buy 20 different kinds of corn snacks, those are all the same HS code (the HS code for corn-based snacks), so you will not be charged €5 x €20 items = €100, you will only be charged €5 x 1 HS code = €5.

UNITED STATES CUSTOMERS:
We are now shipping to the United States! We will continue with our tiered shipping fees based on how much you spend (details below). The shipping price will inlcude all tariffs/duties, clearance fees, and processing fees. The current tariffs/duties are 12.5% of your order cost. The current clearance fee is 10% of the tariff/duty fee rounded up to the next $5.00. The current processing fee is a flat $3.95 for all orders. Please understand that tariffs/duties, clearance fees, and processing fees may change without notice. Additional tariffs/duties and/or fees may be charged when your order arrives. No refunds will be issued for refusal to pay any additional tariffs/duties and/or fees. Tariffs/duties, clearance fees, and processing fees are non-refundable once the package leaves Japan.
All orders are shipped via Japan Post, which is the Japanese national postal service. Once your order is shipped, it will be transferred to the national postal service of your country*. A few examples of countries and their national postal services include:
