It is very difficult to produce high-quality pesticide-free matcha, but Hoshino's research and testing over the years has enabled them to produce a stable supply. This organic tea has a natural aroma, moderate astringency, and soft sweetness. JAS organically-grown tea is bio-certified, which is the equivalent organic certification in Europe. JR Kyushu train line's legendary luxury sweets train "Aru Ressha" uses this matcha in sweets under the supervision of Chef Narisawa!
